Day 10 - a conversation with an American "hey - are you American?" ... No ... "But ... You're speaking English?"

American: hey - are you guys American?
Us: nope
American: really?
Us: yes, we are really not American
American: But ... But ... You're speaking English
Us: yes, we are.
American: but, you're not American?
Us: no ... Canadian.
American: Really?
American's Husband: they speak English in other places, hunny.
Us: yes.
American: but they speak french there
Us: yes ... And also English ...
American: oh ... Are you drinking Lemoncello?
Us: yes.
Amercian: ok.

....

I love americans - I think they're great, BUT - there are a select few that ... Well, they just don't get it.
